Why a local photographer abroad is not enough
Greece’s myPhoto platform only accepts images from certified photographers authorised to upload via TAXISnet. A studio in London, Berlin or New York can take a nice portrait — but cannot submit it to myPhoto.gov.gr for a Greek ID, passport or licence.
That affects thousands of expats and Greeks living temporarily overseas: they need an ICAO-compliant official photo but cannot fly back to Volos or Athens immediately.

- Contact details — name, mobile number and email for confirmation.

- Face a window — avoid strong backlight
