In 30 years of operation it has captured through the photographic lens and video many happy moments of newlyweds and families from weddings, baptisms and other social events, performances, theatrical and sporting events. Panorama Studio, with its new store, remains synonymous with professionalism and quality, transferring into photographic and digital albums a world full of beautiful and special memories that accompany the protagonists throughout their lives.
Panorama Studio began operating in 1989 and since then has continued its rich activity exclusively in professional photography and video for weddings, baptisms, events, theatre, sports and other occasions.
The business took its first steps at the junction of Metamorfoseos–G. Kartali 56a. However, the evolution of the business and the warm response from the public led to the opening of a second store at K. Kartali 199.
Having studied photography and directing, Nikos Vaitsopoulos has now taken the reins of the studio, picking up the baton from his father Kostas Vaitsopoulos, who still assists him in the lab.
“I grew up in the photo studio from a young age. I love photography — it fills me, and that is why I decided to study it. For me, photography is an art that constantly evolves through modern digital media,” he said, adding that “it is wonderful to convey through the photographic lens and video the beautiful moments of newlyweds, of a couple baptising their child. And through our work we always manage, at affordable prices, to capture that atmosphere of joy, using our knowledge and modern tools.”
Produces digital albums
Mr Nikos Vaitsopoulos, who has been active in the wedding sector since 2005, noted that “Panorama Studio, operating since 1989, is the only photo studio in Volos with the largest photographic lab. We also have the privilege of being the only ones in Magnesia who can produce digital albums, while we make prints better than the originals were taken — thanks to our equipment, we print photos chemically and not with inks.
At Panorama Studio, photo prints are made on porcelain, and we also print in very large sizes. Finally, we can provide other photography services with same-day delivery of our work.”
Continuous equipment renewal
One of Panorama Studio’s most important concerns is the continuous renewal of its equipment.
“I renew the photographic and cinematic equipment of the studio every two years,” Mr Vaitsopoulos noted, adding that “I attend two to five seminars a year on photographic and cinematic approach to weddings.”
Non-negotiable rules for him are that “I do not take on more than one wedding each Saturday so I can maintain control and achieve the desired result. I am very discreet and do not communicate with the couple during the sacred ceremony — I simply document the events. I do not retain copyright on the photos — I deliver photos in full resolution. Finally, I deliver video on a wooden USB, laser-engraved with their names.”
The new photo store for weddings
Panorama Studio now also has a second store at K. Kartali 199. “We opened our second store here a few weeks ago at K. Kartali 199, which is dedicated exclusively to weddings. In a very beautiful, warm space, future newlyweds can see our work, browse photographic and digital albums and discuss calmly and comfortably what they want regarding the approach to the happiest event of their lives,” Mr Vaitsopoulos noted, adding that “with respect for the client we continue to evolve our work and business, so we are always one step ahead of new trends.”
